The Strataki brothers, with respect and love for the music of their country, faithfully following their original musical instinct, created a new musical proposal - point of view, and "locked" it in the record label with the title "EPELASI"._cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b -136bad5cf58d_
 
Starting a record label in 2012, they have created three record group works ("7 OF MARCH", "THE BOY AND THE DRAGON", "DIKTAMO KE NERANTZI"), and in between two other personal records of Nikos Stratakis ("BREATH", "NERO KI ALATI"), ending today 17/12/2018 and within 6 years, to make their "INVASION", with this new album.
 
The title wants to highlight their continuous and unabashed "struggle" in the music arena, steadfastly supporting their musical views over the years.
 
The album includes twelve songs performed by Voula, George and Nikos Stratakis, with music by Nikos & George Stratakis and Voula Stratakis, and lyrics by Despina Spantidakis, Iliana Lykoudi, Konstantina Matzarakis, Nikos Stratakis and poetry by Stavros Jani. It also contains an arrangement of the traditional songs "KANELORIZA" as found in Crete and "SA THELEIS" in traditional music - lyrics of Kalymnos. 
 
The album "EPELASI" is released by VOREIOS ANEMOMILOS-NORTHENPINWHEEL, which is a new recording proposal in the field of music.
 
The recordings were made at the Sierra studio in Athens with sound engineer Giorgos Kariotis, while the recordings for the 4th track (Elia) and the 7th track (Your smile) were made at the Astra studio in Heraklion, Crete, with the sound engineer Kostas Markakis . The sound mixing and mastering was done by Christos Zorbas at the sierra studio in Athens. 
The photos are by Yiannis Syrogiannopoulos, while foamcastle by Sarah Schaumburg undertook the entire visual editing-creation of the CD.

Northernpinwheel - Northern Pinwheel, was created from an idea, for the production  of inventive and recording works, always in accordance with the aesthetics of the company, without seeking competition  in area of discography, but with the purpose of serving and competing with its own corporate status, for the implementation and support of its ideas.
 
The name of the company is due to the "stone giants" the windmills, which existed in scattered places in Crete, and which operated due to the north winds that prevailed on the island, thus wanting to "unite" with its vision, which is none other than to "grind whatever  wheat it wants and whenever it chooses".
